What materials can be cut?
We can cut most materials with the exception of ferrous metals, stone or ceramics.
Common materials we cut are:
MDF
Plywoods
Solid woods
Soft woods
Plastics
Rigid Foams
Tooling boards
Aluminium
Brass
WHAT ARE THE STANDARD SHEET SIZES AND THICKNESSES?
Standard sheet sizes are 2440×1220 (8x4ft), 3050×1220 (10X4ft), 3050×1525 (10x5ft). Standard sheets thicknesses are:
MDF
3, 6, 12, 15, 18, , 22, 25, 30, 38, 50mm
Ply
4,6,12,15,18,24,30,50
Acrylic (standard sheets sizes 3m x 2m and 1.5m x 1m)
3,5,10,
Aluminium (standard sheets sizes 2m x 1m and 2.5m x 1,25m)
1-20mm in 0.5mm increments.

DO YOU HAVE A PRICE LIST FOR MATERIALS?
Prices of material can vary so quickly, we therefore price material when the job is submitted.
If you have a job a which requires a large quantity of material this will also affect your price.
HOW DOES IT COMPARE IN COST WHEN CUTTING VARIOUS MATERIALS?
There is a large difference in cost when cutting various materials. The general rule is the denser the material to slower it is to cut and therefore the more expensive to cut.
For example cutting aluminium generally would cost around 6 times that of MDF and acrylic around 4 times.
CAN I USE MY OWN MATERIALS?
You can provide your own material, however please specify and make it known in the submission process or when you contact us so that we take this in to consideration when calculating the price and lead time.
CAN I USE A HALF SHEET?
Yes, if it is in stock or you supply it and providing you can fit all the parts you want to cut on it.
CAN I HAVE THE OFFCUTS?
Yes, but please specify this upon submission and add a cut off line into your drawing.
