Bespoke vanity units, fitted bathroom furniture and cabinet joinery — handcrafted to the exact dimensions and aesthetic of your bathroom.

Bespoke Bathrooms

Bespoke bathroom joinery and fitted vanity units

We design and hand-build bathroom joinery to the exact dimensions of your room — vanity units, fitted cabinets, mirror cabinets and storage that make the most of awkward walls, alcoves and sloped ceilings. Made to measure for bathrooms across London and the Home Counties.

Bathroom joinery has to cope with heat and moisture, so we build with moisture-resistant materials, quality hardware and durable, hand-applied finishes. We can match your bathroom cabinetry to existing bedroom or kitchen joinery for a consistent look through the home.

Questions about
bespoke bathrooms

Not covered here? Call us on 01494 261 564 — we'll answer straight away.

What materials are genuinely suitable for bathroom joinery?
Moisture-resistant MDF (MR MDF) is suitable for bathroom joinery that is not in direct contact with water — vanity units, wall cabinets, mirror frames and tall storage. For areas with direct water contact, we use PVC foam board, marine-grade plywood or solid hardwood with appropriate finishes. We always specify the right material for the level of moisture exposure and will never use standard MDF in a bathroom environment.
Can you design bathroom joinery around a specific basin or sanitaryware model?
Yes — we always design bathroom joinery around specific sanitaryware models, not generic dimensions. We'll ask for the product specification sheet for your basin, tap, and any other fixed items so we can design around them precisely. If you haven't selected your sanitaryware yet, we can advise on models that work well within a bespoke joinery context.
How do you manage plumbing access within a vanity unit?
We design specific access panels or removable shelves within the vanity unit to allow plumber access to the trap, supply valves and waste connections. The panels are designed to be discreet — either a matching painted panel or a removable shelf — and are detailed at the design stage.
Can you make bathroom joinery that matches our bedroom or kitchen?
Yes. Matching paint colours, handle styles, timber species and design language across rooms — kitchen, bedroom, bathroom — creates a beautifully cohesive home. It's something we encourage and design for regularly.
What is the process for commissioning bathroom joinery?
The process begins with a site visit to take measurements and photograph the existing space. We prepare design drawings showing the proposed joinery in the context of the bathroom, including tile layout and sanitaryware positions. Once the design is approved, we prepare a fixed-price quote. Lead time from sign-off is typically 6–8 weeks.

Good bathroom joinery turns an awkward, damp-prone room into the calmest space in the house.
